About Us

Blackwood Property was established in September 2005 by Richard Mens and Grant Smee. With more than 10 years experience in both the property and financial sectors, we created a niche organisation focused on residential Property Investment and Letting & Management.

As Property Investors, we have a strong understanding and awareness of the issues that Landlords may encounter, and stay abreast of any legislative changes which could affect the residential letting market. This is beneficial to both us, in the management of our property portfolio, and to Landlords whose properties we manage.
